Art Exhibition
For James Gilbert, the Dallas Contemporary museum needed brochures, flyers, a sandwich board sign, a screen printed poster and t-shirt design, and a wall mural for his latest exhibit—Warnings and Instructions. The exhibit featured hand made inflatable objects in neon orange and pink, all themed around what happens in an airplane crash. The brochure features imagery in a similar style to the artwork found in a seat-back pocket, but in a color palette to match the exhibit. The shirts would be screen printed in front of visitors, so they needed to be simple with a single screen. The exhibit included hand made life preservers, which was used as a motif on throughout the collateral.
